My entire adult life has been dedicated to writers and writing. I spent more than twenty-five years evaluating, acquiring and editing fiction for New York publishers, ranging from some of the largest houses in the country to small independents. Most recently, as executive editor, I edited and directed the thriller, horror and western lines for Dorchester Publishing, and the horror line for Samhain Publishing. I’ve also edited, among others, thrillers, adventure, military and historical fiction for Bantam Doubleday and romance for Harlequin. Over the years I’ve edited quite a few books that have won or been a finalist for the Bram Stoker Award or the Spur Award. I have been a speaker, panelist or guest at dozens of national, international and local writers’ conferences and conventions.
Before I dove into publishing, I received a Master’s Degree in English and Comparative Literature from Columbia University.
I’m currently accepting only fiction.
